Know where you are: the editor keeps your place in view, and the panels stay where you put them.
Editor
- A scrollbar that doesn’t disappear — the editor now draws its own scrollbar in a slim strip beside the minimap, so your place in the document stays visible while you write instead of fading out a second after you stop scrolling.
- Find your cursor again — a thin accent tick in that strip marks the caret’s line, so you can see where you left off after scrolling away from it.
Panels
- Hiding the PDF gives the space back to the window — the window now shrinks by the column’s width instead of stretching the editor into it, and grows back when you return. The editor and outline keep the widths you gave them, and the window never grows past your display.
- Toggling lands in the same place every time — hiding and showing the PDF repeatedly, or resizing the window while it’s hidden, no longer leaves the panes somewhere slightly different. In full screen the column splits the space already on screen.
- A hidden panel stays hidden through a build — builds no longer pop the PDF column back open. Anything you ask for directly still brings it back, with the build’s jump already in place.
